Salt Lake City, UT
/ February 15, 2007 / Press Release / -- A traditional home buyer
seeking a better way of life for their family is steered into an exotic
mortgage with predatory terms. Terms that will almost certainly
guarantee financial loss and damage to credit.
A uninformed real
estate investor at the direction of a mentor or licensed real estate
professional is steered into purchasing an investment home. At the
purchaser's current income level the investment home is out of each.
But further lured by the tale of a fictitious third-party who will be
purchasing the home via a lease option, the consumer moves forward with
the investment. Within days or months the so-called third-party
buyer never materializes and the burden of making the monthly mortgage
payment now falls on the shoulders of the consumer. The result - a home
in foreclosure and yet another individual or even worse multiple family
members unnecessarily find their credit damaged.
Situations like these
happen on a daily basis in the world of real estate and whether
consumers realize it or not, credit is usually the first thing to go.
"Often we have
consumers that contact us because they've gotten behind on their
mortgage and need immediate help not only with housing issues but also
in dealing with issues involving their credit," says Sheri Fitzpatrick,
CEO of Perfect Home Living. "Our alliance with AAA Fair Credit
Foundation will enable consumers a well balanced supporting cast in
helping consumers get back on track not only with problems arising from
housing issues but credit issues as well," Fitzpatrick added.

education and credit counseling services. AAA Fair Credit

predatory lending," says Preston Cochrane, CEO of AAA Fair Credit
Foundation. "Working together in partnership with Perfect Home Living
will afford Utah's consumers with a unique opportunity to regain control
of their lives and their financial situation," Cochrane added.
